🎸 Starting the year without pressure

DearReader

Tonight feels strange for a lot of people.

There’s pressure to reset. To decide who you’re going to be next year. To promise yourself you’ll finally “do it right.”

I don’t buy into that.

What I do believe in is choosing better containers.

Most players don’t struggle because they lack information. They struggle because everything is self-directed, optional, and easy to drift away from once life gets noisy.

That’s exactly why we run cohorts.

Same courses. Same material.
But inside a structure that helps you actually finish.
Weekly assignments.
Clear pacing.
Real deadlines.
A group moving together.
Four live meetings where we zoom out, play, and reconnect the dots.

In January, three cohorts are starting:

  • Beginner Evolution
  • Music Theory
  • Rhythm Matrix

They’re different entry points into our same layered method where everything reinforces each other.
Patterns on the fretboard. In rhythm. In harmony.
Choose the layer that will stabilize everything else.

Over the next few days, I’ll help you figure out which one fits where you are right now. No pressure. No hype.

For tonight, this is just a note to self:

We don’t need a reinvention.
We need a structure that supports our practice.

The cohorts kick off on January 8, and enrollment stays open for a short window before we start.

With groove,
Ari
